The existing 4-leg, two-way stop-controlled intersection of County Road 4 @ Freshour Road has experienced a high frequency of crashes in comparison to other intersections of this type on the County highway system. Crash severity is also of concern, with 10 of 14 crashes recorded during a seven-year study period involving injuries. This project will either convert the two-way stop-controlled intersection into an all-way stop or a roundabout with the goal of improving safety by reducing the number and severity of crashes. Depending on the selected alternative, construction is anticipated to take place at some time between the fall of 2026 and the fall of 2028 to allow adequate time for engineering, contracting, and implementation.https://www.ontariocountyny.gov/2406/County-Road-4-Freshour-Road-Intersection
