Hopewell Property Tax Rate per Thousand from 2023-2026

The Hopewell Town Board approved the 2026 Town Budget at the November 19, 2025 Town Board meeting.

Over the last four years, the Town's Property Tax Rate per thousand has continuously decreased as follows:

2023 - $1.28           2024 - $1.27          2025 - $0.89          2026 - $0.76

1995 Records indicate that the property tax rate per thousand in the Town of Hopewell was at a high of $3.34 - Over the years the property tax rates have fluctuated.  As indicated above, you can see that the Town Board has significantly decreased the property tax rate for Hopewell's residents over the last four years.
